Back in 2003 EF designed the Rigid Polypropylene Tank Lid.

The EF Tank Lid has a rigid 6mm polypropylene base, making the lid extremely robust. The base is covered by a 3mm shell encapsulating 25mm insulation. Tank lids are manufactured to suit any access restrictions and come complete with access hatch, breather, fixings and sealing strip.

Large tank lids can be manufactured in multi sections to aid transportation and access. Unlike GRP, polypropylene is resistant to cracking, ageing and moisture.
